New dad David hogs the road

PROUD father David Beckham takes a break from dirty nappies by going on a motorbike ride.
The footie ace took a drive round the coastal roads of Malibu on the back of a vintage-style hog.

Sporting a bright red crash helmet the 36-year-old England legend echoed Brad Pitt who is often also seen slicing through LA streets on a powerful two-wheeler.

Becks, his wife Posh and their recently expanded family are currently staying at film director Steven Spielberg's home.

The £25million mansion sits directly on the Los Angeles coast in one of the most exclusive residential areas on the planet.

The Beckham clan have been making the most of the beach location with regular surfing sessions.

David's eldest son, Brooklyn, is already far better than the footie ace when it comes to riding the waves, as he proved on Tuesday.

Victoria, 37, gave birth to first daughter Harper Seven last Sunday.

She was named after Harper Lee, the American author of the former Spice Girl's favourite book To Kill A Mockingbird.

Doting David recently spoke of his joy at welcoming a daughter into his life.

He said: "To have another girl in the family is really incredible.

"We've got three beautiful healthy boys already and we're so lucky to have that - and now to have a beautiful little girl.

"Having a daughter is a whole new thing. Having pink in the house, having lilac in the house.

"And you have to be a lot more delicate with girls than boys. I'm not used to that, so it's a whole new experience."

Its a seriously over-priced bike that only posers with too much cash go out and buy (all the gear and no idea), and for the record its not a Hog AKA Harley Davidson, yes its a V-twin but it aint no Hog. The question is 'Do they share gloves, or does Beckham just want to look like the rest of the best?

For goodness sake!!! GET LEATHERS ON!!!! My Hubby and I wouldn't dream of going on a bike without them - aren't they aware that skin is an organ?????? Hurt like hell if they come off and are lucky enough to still be alive!! What stupidity......

Come on people, they are both wearing jeans, boots, gloves and crash helmets. While I accept that tshirts offer very little protection from road rash of the upper body, what they are wearing is better than the majority of riders in LA. Before I get shot down, lets put this in context. I used to ride a lot and would always wear boots, a protective jacket, gloves and a helmet....but I was commuting mostly. These guys are riding to relax and are probably not hitting very high speeds at all (anyone who has driven/ridden in LA will appreciate that). Considering the heat that they are in and the fact that they are probably travelling at a tame speed, I think that they are taking acceptable calculated risks. Yes coming off would hurt more than if they were wearing jackets (the only part of the kit they are really missing), but it is highly unlikely to be lethal given the type of riding they are doing.
