ARCTIC Monkeys have always made music industry executives more excited than Naomi Campbell in Carphone Warehouse.
And six years after releasing their demos online and signing their first deal, nothing has changed.

The Sheffield lads' contract with label Domino will be up for renegotiation after they finish promotional duties for their latest No1 album Suck It And See.

That's got a string of record company bosses interested in poaching the band.

An insider said: "The boys' four-album deal is nearly finished and their management are ready to meet labels who fancy picking them up. Signing the Arctics would be a huge coup for anyone right now, because they are guaranteed to sell huge numbers.

"They have a great relationship with Domino because the founder Laurence Bell has always given them a lot of creative control.

"And they could re-sign with the firm but now Domino face competition from the major labels, who are keen to wade in. It could be a huge bun fight."

The band will take a break at the start of 2012 when tour dates and promotion for Suck It And See have finished.

They'll then have a big decision to make about their future.

Loved their first two albums, lyrics were utter genius, specially as Alex Turner's inspirations were the likes of John Cooper Clarke, the last album and the the stuff their doing now though, i don't like at all

WPSIATWIN, Favourite Worst Nightmare and Suck it and See are some of thre greatest albums of my generation.

I've watched a lot of interviews with the band and they all seem like genuinely nice guys, too. I hope they get big money out of this deal.
